Lauren Zerbin is a computer science student and researcher at Aarhus University specializing in
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Extended Reality (XR). His academic work focuses on designing
innovative,
input methods for spatial computing utilizing eye-gaze and hand input. He co-authored the 2025 ISMAR
paper
"SpatialPad", a novel technique that
reimagines physical trackpad gestures as one-handed mid-air taps
combined with eye-gaze, allowing users to effortlessly navigate and manipulate 3D environments. He
has also researched continuous hands-free spatial selection methods such as
"Gaze+Blink".
